Native to Colorado, and an animal lover from birth, I have been drawing animals since I could hold onto a pencil or crayon. I took professional drawing lessons throughout school, then went on the major in Art at Colorado State University. I have been an equestrian almost as long as I have been drawing and painting, and so began my career painting horse murals in homes and business. Along with horses I have painted everything from Care Bears to Dalmations and Nascar. While I still enjoy painting murals, I prefer the intimacy of portraits.  

    I am blessed to have a wonderful and supportive family. We raise American Quarter Horses, Jack, our blue roan stud and 3 other riding and breeding horses. We have 2 dogs, our Chocolate Lab stud dog and and Australian Cattle dog. Some of our best friendships started with my clients.  I hope you will  become a friend someday soon too.
